Nova Beau Monde has been a dancer for over 10 years and performing with fire for 5 all over the midwest. She is one of St. Louis’ only female firebreathers. She performed in the past with many noteworthy performers, including Pandora’s Matchbox, Vesuvius Fire Troupe, and Crazy Boy Coy. Nova is a wild Aquarius with a love of old blues music who is raising 2 future circus freaks. She loves the taste of hot things and fire torches are her favorite tool.
Rosy Glow discovered fire through her extensive background in bellydance. She performed with the Vesuvius Fire Troupe in Kansas City before coming to St. Louis. Recently, she performed with the Garnish Fire Conclave at Burning Man and was a Hookahdome fire performer during Beats Antique’s concert. Rosy is a costume designer, hoopmaker, and a fierce Capricorn mama. She feels most at home inside her fire hoop.
Scarlett Sinferno discovered fire in a Portland dive bar 3 years ago. She picked up a pair of poi the next day, fell in love, and began learning from noted circus performers. Upon moving to St. Louis, she founded Venus in Flames. She performed in the 2010 and 2011 Show Me Burlesque Festivals. Recently, she performed with the Garnish Fire Conclave at Burning Man and was a Hookahdome fire performer during Beats Antique’s concert. Being a Cancer, Scarlett is the troupe’s media and tech guru as well as resident go-getter.
